Police have identified one of two men who were fatally shot in an East Point apartment late Sunday night.

The men, who were both in their 50s, were discovered in the Regency Park Apartments on Desert Circle.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office identified one of the men as 51-year-old Price Fisher of Atlanta. Authorities are withholding the name of the second man, pending notification of his next of kin.

Police investigators said the shooter may have been trying to steal prescription drugs.

“[Detectives] asked me about gunshots, if I heard any fight, commotion or anything like that and I haven’t,” neighbor De’ante Grier told Channel 2.

Authorities are continuing to investigate.

“Unfortunately, at this time there are very few leads that we have,” East Point police Lt. Cliff Chandler said. “However, we are requesting that the public help us out with this case.”
