As part of the city of East Point’s pothole reduction program, deep patching on Camp Creek Parkway will begin Oct. 24 to address the worst of the potholes. The mission and goal of the Roads & Drainage Division is to continue performing comprehensive maintenance, repairs and emergency response tasks within the city roadways.

According to city officials, work will start on the eastbound turn lane to I-285 southbound then move to the worst of the areas inside the perimeter.

Motorists are encouraged to excerise caution around construction sites and take alternative routes if possible.
