The city of East Point is offering a bulk trash amnesty week through Friday, April 19.

Customers are advised that Items such as sofas, chairs, tables, desks, mattresses, refrigerators (with freon removed), washers, dryers, hot water heaters, stoves, lawnmowers (with gas and oil removed), etc. are considered bulk trash items and should be placed at the front curb or roadside by 7:30 a.m. on your regularly scheduled garbage collection day.

Items not permited:

propane tanks

• branches/tree trimmings

• sod/dirt/rocks

• flammable materials/oil

• construction debris

• concrete

• coals/hot ashes

• paint

• demolition debris

• tires
