The East Point City Council will have a second reading and vote for adoption of the city’s proposed Fiscal Year 2017 budget during the regular scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Jefferson Station Council Chambers, 1526 East Forrest Avenue Suite 400.

There will be a public hearing after the reading for resident questions and comments.

Another agenda item is discussion of the city’s revised list for the Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. The list is largely of streets needing repairs or improvements. The council will also receive an update on the city’s new website.
