East Point hires first Latina clerk

East Point has hired a new city clerk from inside its ranks.

Agnes Beltran is the south Fulton County city’s first Latina to be named clerk. She had worked in the clerk’s office since 2005, most recently as assistant city clerk. She also worked for almost two years as a deputy city clerk in Johns Creek.
