The East Point City council will hold a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Jefferson Station Council Chambers, 1526 East Forrest Avenue, Suite 400. There will also be a public hearing during the meeting to consider three change of agent requests and two special-use permits for places of worship, one at 2619 Dodson Drive and the other at 1405 East Cleveland Avenue. The council will also consider upgrading the city’s IT Network, applying for the 2015 Assistance to Firefighters Grant, and giving approval to purchase 18 vehicles for city use.
