East Point City Council candidate LaTonya Martin is being sued by her homeowners association, which says she owes $3,900 in unpaid maintenance fees. Heritage Park at East Point filed suit in Fulton County Magistrate Court earlier this month, also seeking 10 percent interest, court costs and attorneys' fees. Other than a $200 payment last week, Martin hasn't made a quarterly payment in several years, association attorney Dana Tucker Davis said.

Martin is in a three-way race for the Ward D seat, along with Threef Brown and incumbent Clyde Mitchell.
