The East Point city council will hold a regularly scheduled meeting and public hearing at 6:30 p.m., today in the Jefferson Station Council Chambers, 1526 East Forrest Avenue, Suite 400.

Items on the agenda include: discussion on electrical vehicle chargers incentives and rates; special rate fee for small commercial businesses; the Republic recycling contract; reallocation of $165,000 of capital improvement funds to plan and design Fire Station 4, at 2222 Ben Hill Road; granting a Special Use Permit to the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia for a special event, the Annual 7K Road Race and 4K Walk; application for Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant of $262,996 For FY 2016; approval of vendor for trimming trees on city property costing $106,360; and consideration of Nancy’s Pizza Main Alcohol License.
