The East Point City Council will present a public hearing during the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the City Annex, 3121 Norman Berry Drive. The hearing is to review three requests for alcohol licenses.
East Point Food Mart, owned by Rizwan Khan and located at 3056 Bayard St., Suite 100, is requesting a license to sell beer and wine for off premise consumption. The Courtyard Atlanta Airport West, Located at 3400 Creek Pointe Ave, has a new licensee, Shasha Middleton Jackson, and is asking for an alcohol license for beer, wine and liquor. Licensee and Owner James Ross LeMay is applying for a license for on-premise consumption of beer, wine and liquor for the Pearl Bar, Inc. at 2783 Main St.
