A field at Fullers Park in Marietta has been rehabbed and named to honor former Atlanta Braves player Chipper Jones. The Atlanta Braves Foundation paid to renovate the field used by the East Cobb Baseball League.

Improvements include regrading the field, rebuilding pitcher’s mounds and installing on-deck circles. After Jones retired in 2012, the Braves promised to refurbish fields around Atlanta to honor Jones. Two years ago, the organization renovated a field at Atlanta’s West Manor Park.

The organization did not release the cost of the renovations.
