Advance, in-person voting for council posts in Peachtree City, Fayetteville and Tyrone is open through Nov. 1.

Registered voters can cast ballots 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Fri. through Oct. 25 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Oct. 26, as well as 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 28-Nov. 1 at the Fayette County Administrative Complex (140 Stonewall Ave. West in Fayetteville), the Peachtree City Library (101 Willowbend Road next to City Hall) and Tyrone Town Hall, 881 Senoia Road.

Peachtree City Post 1 candidates are Oobi Childs, Morgan Hallmon and Phil Prebor; Post 2 candidates are Darryl Csicsila, Mike King and Steven Newton.

Fayetteville’s Post 1 race is between Darryl Langford, Phil Onyedumekwu and Harlan Shirley; Post 2 candidates are Kathaleen Brewer, Joe Clark, Oyin J. Mitchell and Kevin Pratt II.

In Tyrone, David Barlow and Linda Howard are competing for Council Post 1 and Billy Campbell, Michael Edwards and Melissa Hill are vying for Council Post 2.
