Dunwoody youth police group wins statewide honor

The Dunwoody Police Explorers have earned statewide recognition in just their second year of existence.

Post 702, which offers youth hands-on training and activities related to law enforcement, recently took second place in the Georgia Police Explorer State Championship. The score reflects two first-place finishes in an obstacle course and gang investigation scenario, as well as high ranks in other areas.
