The Picayune Toy Store will serve as Dunwoody’s representation in Neighborhood Toy Store Day this weekend.

The event on Saturday includes a pizza party, games and other activities starting at 10 a.m. at the shop, 2482 Jett Ferry Road.

The American Specialty Toy Retailing Association is sponsoring the event nationally as a way to encourage people to shop locally. It also focuses on hot toys such as the card game Anomia and Bubber modeling clay.

Becky Goblish, Picayune’s owner and a Dunwoody grandmother, was elected to the ASRTA board of directors earlier this year.
