Dunwoody police are investigating 10 home burglaries that happened over the last several weeks, officials said.

While police do not have a description of a suspect or a suspect vehicle, many of the cases involved a burglar using a ladder found on the property to climb through a second-floor window, according to a statement from Dunwoody police.

Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact Detective Robert Ehlbeck at 678-382-6925 or at robert.ehlbeck@dunwoodyga.gov.

Police urged residents to “secure” ladders that are left outside their homes, and lock all doors and windows, even those on higher floors.

And if you have an alarm system, activate it to cover upper floors or other non-typical entry points, police said.
