The Dunwoody Police will host a “pill drop” this week, to let residents safety dispose of prescription medicines.

The department is joining forces with the Drug Enforcement Agency for the event, which also will take over-the-counter medicines in an effort to keep them out of the wrong hands.

Residents can drop off their unwanted medicines between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at the front lobby of the police department. The department is in city hall, 41 Perimeter Center East.

For more information, contact Sgt. Mike Carlson at 678-382-6907.
