The Dunwoody Police Department this week announced the arrest 48-year-old Jerry Dobbs, of Decatur, for the burglaries of three separate businesses where he allegedly targeted cigarettes.

The incidents occurred on Feb. 7 at the BP gas station at 5418 Chamblee Dunwoody Road; on Feb. 21 at CVS Pharmacy at 1610 Mount Vernon Road; and on Feb. 24 at a Walgreens location in Dunwoody.  In all three incidents, Dobbs broke into the businesses before dawn and dumped several packs of cigarettes into a black trash bag before fleeing the scene.

Dobb was arrested following the third break-in. At the time, police said he still had some of the stolen merchandise in his possession. Dobbs is charged with three felony counts of burglary.
