Road crews have been active all over Dunwoody as the street paving and street resurfacing program for this year is about 60 percent complete. This summer, city crews will complete work on a total of 48 streets, equalling more than eight miles of paving and resurfacing. In the next week, paving work will begin on Olde Village Court, Olde Village Lane, and Olde Village Run. Several new streets have been added to the original paving list. Independence Square, Tilly Mill Road, Vermack Road and Valley View Road are scheduled to be repaved in the next several weeks.

Portions of Chamblee Dunwoody Road and Mount Vernon Road slated for paving this year have been delayed in order to coordinate with DeKalb County for the replacement of existing water main lines along these streets. The upgrade of these water utility lines is expected to begin at the end of this year. The resurfacing of these roads will follow the completion of the utility work.
