Dunwoody City Council recently approved merit raises for the city manager and city clerk.

The 3.4 percent raises are retroactive to Jan. 1 for both manager Warren Hutmacher and clerk Sharon Lowery.

Hutmacher, who became the Dunwoody’s first city manager in November 2008, has previously earned 149,930 a year.

Lowery, who became the city’s first clerk after leaving the same job in Snellville in January 2009, earned $74,384.
