Dunwoody has rejected a donation of land that would have cost $5,000 a year to keep up.

The North Atlanta Church of Christ offered the city about .4 acres of land at Witham and Roberts drives earlier this year. The city had hoped it could be turned into a pocket park for the area.

However, a staff analysis revealed that while the land could be kept as green space, it could not be developed into a park because of stream buffer limitations.
