Dunwoody’s leaders have decided to stay home instead of traveling to Tennessee for a planning retreat.

The city council was scheduled to spend the weekend 250 miles away in Franklin, Tenn., discussing the city’s future. That idea was scuttled Friday because of the threat of snow.

The retreat will be held at 8 a.m. Sunday at Embassy Suites Perimeter at 1030 Crown Point Parkway in Dunwoody.

The meeting is open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend. Results of the retreat will be posted on the city Web site.
