The Dunwoody Nature Center has released the lineup and schedule for its 2019 Summer Concert Series, starting with a country songstress and concluding with a "battle of the bands."

The concerts kick off May 18 at 5343 Roberts Dr. in Dunwoody and run every other Saturday until July 27, usually from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is free for member families, $5 for non-member adults and $3 for non-member students.

Families can pack a picnic along with chairs or a blanket; food and craft beers are also available to buy at the nature center.

The battle of the bands will feature local students artists competing against one another “for the top spot,” the nature center said in an announcement.
