The Duluth City Council recently authorized funds from the sale of property known as “the hole” to be allocated to the Downtown Development Authority budget for site improvements. In June, the DDA sold the property at 3112 Main St. to Seed Duluth, LLC for $10,000. Seed Duluth, LLC is currently constructing a new building on the property. As a result, the existing sign on the side of the Red Clay Music Foundry was relocated to the rear of the building.

Duluth’s DDA then requested installation of a new sign on the front of the Red Clay Music Foundry. The DDA contracted with A-1 Signs, Inc. to relocate the existing sign and install the new sign for a cost of $10,000.
