The Duluth Police Department is partnering with businesses, homeowners associations and individual homeowners to increase safety throughout the city. The city is expanding its camera system and offering free monitoring to businesses, HOAs and private homes.

Duluth’s Virtual Patrol Program uses both trained officers and volunteers who have passed the department’s Citizen Police Academy to monitor about 100 cameras around the city for potential criminal activity. To participate you must add your camera to the program for monitoring.
