Duluth is accepting applications for its seventh installment of the Learn, Engage, Advance Duluth Academy set to begin Feb. 5. The program is designed to engage and empower citizens with information to help address community issues. Participants will explore local issues, gain insight into the city’s decision-making process and learn ways to help advance the community to a better future.

The program will consist of six Thursday evening sessions held from 6 to 9 p.m. and one Monday evening session, Feb. 23, when the class will join the City Council for the regularly scheduled Work Session at 5:30 pm.

Sessions take place at City Hall.
