Duluth to host ceremony for Davenport Road project

Duluth will host a dedication for the Davenport Road Sidewalk and Road Improvement Project on Sept. 1.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. along Davenport Road. The public is invited to attend the event, which is expected to last about an hour. Signage will be posted to direct attendees to designated parking locations.

Duluth Mayor Nancy Harris will officiate the ceremony and Georgia Department of Transportation board member Rudy Bowen will make some remarks.
