Duluth officials will host a public open house for its Comprehensive Plan update 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug.23 in the Community Room at City Hall, 3167 Main St. The Comprehensive Plan is the city’s long-range plan to help shape housing, transportation, parks and much more.

The comprehensive plan serves as a document that guides city leaders in creating long-term decisions that positively impact the future of the community. A periodic update to the plan is required to meet state requirements that allow the city to maintain Qualified Local Government Status and remain eligible for state and federal assistance funding.
