Duluth hires three contractors for stormwater maintenance

Three on-call service providers will assist Duluth with stormwater maintenance and repair projects on an as-needed basis for 2017. The three services providers are Southern Premier, Layne Inliner and Precise Development Group. All three contracts, approved by the Duluth City Council on Monday, come with an option for extension into 2018 and 2019.

The contracts specify work will be done between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday unless the city experiences an emergency situation. Work must meet all federal, state and local regulations, be properly permitted, and be performed by employees meeting strict guidelines for licensing, citizenship and/or work permits.
