Duluth received four applications for the city’s one open Planning Commission alternate position. The Planning Commission Chair, the Community Development Director and the city’s Development Planner interviewed all four candidates. Although each candidate brought a unique perspective, the city council voted Monday for Slade Lail to fill the alternate position.
In addition, Miguel Figueroa was re-appointed to the Planning Commission to serve a four-year regular term. Figueroa currently serves as the Planning Commission alternate.
