The Duluth City Council confirmed appointments Monday to several city boards and agencies. Among those, Duluth appointed Bernard Robertson to the Alcohol Board as Alternate I to fill the unexpired term of J. Terry Swaim, expiring March 31, 2017 and Richard T. Hill as Alternate II to fill the unexpired term of Slade Lail, with term expiring March 31, 2017.
Steve Gaultney and Kirkland Dion Carden McDaniel have been appointed to the Urban Redevelopment Agency, with terms ending March 31, 2018.
Re-appointments include Carey Fisher to the Zoning Board of Appeals, Maxine Garner to the Core Preservation District Residential Board and Brad Hench to both the CPD-R and the Construction Board. Once the Unified Development Code is adopted the CPD-R will no longer function in its current status.
