A total of 112 people have graduated from Henry County State Court’s intensive DUI/Drug Court since its inception five years ago, according to a report given at the Henry County Board of Commissioners’ Jan. 20 meeting.

Of those graduates, 92 percent have not had a DUI within three years of exiting the program. The DUI/Drug Court is a 52-week program that combines therapy, drug and alcohol screenings, and regular courtroom appearances for accountability purposes to give repeat offenders an alternative to jail and a possibility of lasting rehabilitation.
