Drivers reminded of nightly lane closures on Ga 141/PIB

Not only is back-to-school traffic back in full swing, but drivers can expect ongoing traffic delays as Georgia Department of Transportation contractors continue overnight lane closures on Ga 141/ Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in DeKalb and Gwinnett.

Assuming the weather remains hot and dry, one left lane will be closed overnight on Ga 141/PIB southbound at its intersection with Tilly Mill Road 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. this week. Work crews will be installing ADA-compliant ramps and striping at the intersection.

Drivers can expect delays and are asked to watch for detour signage, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
