Drivers can expect lane closures on Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford

Construction crews working for the Georgia Department of Transportation will conduct single lane closures on Ga. 347/Lanier Islands Parkway from Holiday Marina to McEver Road through the end of Jan. Closures will occur 9a.m. until 4 p.m. daily

Crews will use the lane closures to complete final asphalt topping along this portion of the widening project.

As always, paving is weather dependent and the schedule may change or be extended due to inclement weather.

Drivers are reminded to slow down and drive alert through the work zone.
