Drivers heading westbound on Ga. 316 will experience delays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25 under the Ga. 81 overpass bridge between Winder and Bethlehem. Construction partners with the Georgia Department of Transportation will use single lane closures to pour the concrete driving surface of the overhead bridge. This work is weather-permitting, and with rain expected on Tuesday, don’t be surprised if this interchange construction is delayed.

This project will construct a full diamond urban interchange providing access to and from Ga. 316 at the intersection of Ga. 81. This work was awarded to CMES, Inc. in July 2017 for approximately $27 million.
