Drivers on S.R. 316 in Gwinnett will face delays due to lane closures

Daytime lane closures will occur 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on State Route 316 as contractors working for the Georgia Department of Transportation continue construction on the new interchange in Bethlehem. A single left-hand lane and median will be closed east and westbound between State Route 81 and Harry McCarthy Road.
Lanes closures will allow construction crews to install concrete barriers and construct the support structure for the new bridge. This work will continue daily until April 22.
CMES Inc. of Norcross was awarded the project in the summer of 2017 and has a scheduled completion date of fall 2020.
