Driver killed in Buckhead crash identified
Atlanta police have released the name of the driver killed when his Chevrolet Corvette slammed into a utility pole early Sunday.
Anthony Moss, 21, of Stone Mountain died when the car swerved and struck the pole in the 2100 block of Peachtree Road, in front of Varasano's Pizzeria, WSB Radio reported. Witnesses told the station Moss was speeding.
A passenger injured in the 3:30 a.m. crash was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The passenger's condition was not immediately available.
