An Acworth man has been indicted on charges of causing a July crash that killed a 17-year-old girl and a Cobb County teacher two months before her wedding.

A grand jury indicted Braden Palladin Price, who turned 21 in jail, Thursday on four felony counts of homicide by vehicle.

Allison Anne Carroll, 24, was a third-grade teacher at Dowell Elementary School in Marietta. She was following her fiance as the pair headed to visit family when the wreck happened.

The 17-year-old girl who died, Ashley Nicole Bratton, was a passenger in Price's car when he lost control, police said. She was set to start her senior year at North Cobb High School, according to her online obituary.

Price admitted to police he'd smoked "just a few joints" before getting behind the wheel July 22, investigators previously said.

Price has been in jail without bond since his arrest in early August, records show.
