A women’s boutique clothing store is getting a new address in Alpharetta.

Dress Up, which has 20 stores in four states, will relocate its Alpharetta store from Windward Parkway to the Alpharetta City Center. A specific date wasn’t identified, but Dress Up announced in a press release that its new storefront would open in the fall.

The new Dress Up will be stationed on the corner of Academy and Market streets, in “The District” portion of the Alpharetta City Center, which is two blocks full of fashion retail and luxury residential space.

“Our customers tend to stop by every week to see what’s new so it’s important that the surrounding environment be welcoming, with a good mix of tenants,” Derrick Case, Dress Up’s CEO, said in a statement.

South City Partners and Morris & Fellows developed much of the retail and residential space in the Alpharetta City Center, a 26-acre mixed-use property, which features shopping, office and residential spaces, and is also home to Alpharetta's city hall, a library and a park.

Dress Up was founded in 2009 with its first storefront in Dahlonega. It has locations in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and South Carolina.
