The Lilburn City Council voted July 10 to approve a contract with Woodwind Construction for $177,000 to upgrade the city parking lot in Old Town between 1910 Public House and Music on Main Street.

Woodwind was the lowest of three bidders for this project with the highest bid at $210,773. The project will be funded by the 2017 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax and the city’s Capital Projects Fund.

Paving should begin as soon as the contractor has room on his schedule.
