The downtown Fulton County Tax Commissioners Office closed Monday for cleaning and sanitizing. A statement said the closure is temporary and “out of an abundance of caution.”

The statement did not indicate whether closure of the office located at 141 Pryor St. N.W. is due to a case of COVID-19.

Other locations of the Fulton County Tax Commissioners Office were open Monday for in-person service.

North Fulton Service Center 7741 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs

Tax Commissioner Officer at Greenbriar Mall 2841 Greenbriar Pkwy, Atlanta

Kiosks are also available at several locations to renew vehicle tags.

Tag offices reopened June 15 to renew vehicle registrations, get title changes and take care of other issues after being closed since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
