Downed trees block I-75 ramp in Marietta

Downed trees and rain are expected to jam morning traffic on I-75 in Cobb County Wednesday.
South Marietta Parkway at the I-75 northbound ramp and Washington Ave at Cole Street, near the Marietta National Cemetery, are closed due to downed trees, police said.
Marietta police have advised drivers to avoid the areas.
GDOT reported a flooded lane and an accident on I-75 southbound by Windy Hill Road.
Drivers should expect wind, flooded roads and small hail to linger the next couple hours in metro Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologists.
