Douglasville police to host active shooter preperation meeting Dec. 29

The Douglasville Police Department will hold a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Dec. 29 on “Active Shooter: A Citizen’s Guide to Planning for Survival.”

The free session will be at the Community Room, Douglasville Police Department, 2083 Fairburn Road.

Topics will include how to react if you find yourself in an active-shooter situation, a Run/Hide/Fight video and survival and personal awareness tips.
