Georgia Department of Transportation contractors have installed a temporary detour between the north and south sides of Jessie Davis Park in Douglasville for the Ga. 92 relocation and widening project in Douglas County.
For the next month - dependent on weather and on-site conditions, crews are installing a partial road closure on Brown Street between Ga. 92/Dallas Highway and Old Dallas Road.
The closure will allow the contractor to complete the required grading, pipe installation and pond installation on this site.
This closure is near Riley’s Early Learning Academy on Brown Street North.
Parents and employees will continue to have access to the academy via Ga. 92/Dallas Highway but not from Brown Street.
