A Douglas County teenager killed in a Carroll County wreck will be buried Thursday.

Blake Goforth, 16, was a sophomore at Alexander High School in Douglasville.

Goforth died Monday afternoon when the truck he was riding in ran off a Carroll County road and hit a tree, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The Times-Georgian newspaper reported that the 17-year-old driver and another passenger, also 17, were treated at Tanner Medical Center and released. A third passenger, age 19, remains hospitalized at Grady Memorial Hospital, the newspaper said. Their names have not been released.

Goforth's funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Ephesus Baptist Church.
