Douglas County accepting Citizen’s Academy applications
Applications are being accepted now for the annual Douglas County Citizen’s Academy that is scheduled to begin June 2 for 10 weeks. (Courtesy of Douglas County)
Applications are being accepted by the Douglas County Department of External Affairs for the Douglas County Citizen’s Academy.
This 10-week interactive program is offered once a year to encourage civic engagement and enhance communication between county officials and citizens.
Beginning June 2, the Citizen’s Academy will meet once a week on Tuesday evenings.
However, the schedule may be changed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
