The Doraville Planning Commission unanimously voted recently to approve a conditional use permit. The permit is to operate a thrift and consignment store at 3715 Northcrest Road as Erre’s Thrift Store. The applicant Brian Alcocer told the commission the store would focus on home decor and furniture items.

The commission also approved a rezoning request for a dry cleaning service at 3747 Longmire Way, allowing the applicant only 20 parking spaces, one handicapped accessible space and two truck loading strike outs, instead of the required 32 spaces.

The commission requested the applicant landscape the grass area between the parking lot and sidewalk with small shrubs and mulch to improve the area view.
