The Doraville City Council will discuss adding to the city’s development authority during the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Doraville City Hall, 3725 Park Ave. The council will vote to approve the appointing Jim Ellis to the group that focuses on developing the Doraville’s downtown area.
The council will also discuss an amendment to the city’s zoning ordinances to allow in home showrooms. The purpose is to facilitate home improvement centers, exhibitions, training facilities and retail uses to encourage economic development.
