Doraville considers a new dry cleaning store

The Doraville City Council will hear a rezoning request 7 p.m. Monday at Doraville City Hall, 3725 Park Ave. The applicant wants the rezoning of 3747 Longmire Way to operate a dry cleaning and laundry service, also seeking a variance to reduce the required parking.

Another agenda item is awarding the Oakcliff Road Traffic Calming Project contract the Georgia Development Partners LLC. The company put in a bid to complete the work for $400,000.

The council will also consider authorizing action on traffic flow improvement measures at the Longmire Flowers and Winters Chapel Road intersections, improvements to the Buford Highway and Interstate 285 Interchange and Tilly Mill Road speed limit measures.
