The Doraville Public Works Department will be testing the new tornado sirens for the first time next today at 12 p.m. noon.

The sirens will sound for 12 seconds. Later tests will be conducted at noon on the first Wednesday of each month. If the siren sounds at any other time, there is a weather emergency and residents should take proper cover. The siren locations in the city are located at Woodwin Road at Woodwin Court, Green Oak Drive and Scarlet Oak Drive and at Autumn Park in Northwoods.
