The Doraville City Council voted unanimously to grant a conditional use permit for a liquor store at 5224 Buford Highway with the conditions that the applicant remove outdoor storage areas, re-strike the parking lot and screen the dumpster from view on Buford Highway.

The council also denied a conditional use permit to operate a moving and storage facility at 3613 and 3615 Clearview Place. The council felt it was a mistake to place the business at the location which sits inside a residential neighborhood and would cause a noise nuisance to residents.
