No people were hurt, but an electrical fire in an Augusta mobile home led to the death of 16 dogs Monday, the Augusta Chronicle reported.

Firefighters battled the blaze at 4422 Old Waynesboro Road, Lot 6, just after midnight, Augusta fire spokeswoman Dee Griffin told the newspaper.
